LORENA BOBBITT FILES MOTION TO MOVE IN WITH HER PARENTS

Lorena Bobbitt's parents moved from Venezuela to Woodbridge this spring to help her get her life back in order after severing her husband's penis last year. Now she wants to move in with them.

Bobbitt's attorney has filed a motion with Prince William County Commonwealth's Attorney Paul Ebert's office requesting a change in the terms of her probation so she can live with her parents.

Bobbitt has been staying with family friends in Stafford County, as specified by the terms of her probation.

Circuit Judge Herman Whisenant Jr. has indicated that if Ebert agrees with the motion, he will approve the change without a hearing, according to court documents.

Ebert is out of town this week.

``I can't see any reason ... why it would not be approved,'' said Bobbitt's attorney, Blair Howard. ``It's only natural for someone to want to live with their parents after something like this.''
