NINTENDO INFRINGED ON PATENT, JURY FINDS

A federal jury Monday ordered Nintendo of America to pay $208 million to a now-defunct company for infringing on the patent for an invention that helps video game characters move and interact.

The jury found Nintendo of America Inc. intentionally violated the patent held by Alpex Computer Corp.
