\ "Charlie's Angels" actress Kate Jackson is doing well after surgery to correct a heart defect, her spokeswoman says.
The 45-year-old Jackson had the operation at a Birmingham, Ala., hospital July 25 and was released on Friday.
"This is a problem that existed from birth that has only recently caused symptoms," Lisa Kasteler said in a statement. "Tests done after surgery demonstrated that the defect was fully repaired and Ms. Jackson's heart was substantially improved and now totally normal."
Jackson also underwent breast cancer surgery in 1989.
