TRAVIS DIXON, son of Mr. and Mrs. Bennet Dixon of Roanoke, recently graduated from St. Andrew's-Sewanee School in St. Andrews, Tenn. He will attend Ferrum College.
AUTUMN L. JORDAN of Roanoke has been named to the dean's list for the spring semester at the Campbell University School of Pharmacy in Buies Creek, N.C.
KAREN DOOLAN, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. John F. Doolan of Roanoke, was honored at the Campbell University School of Pharmacy Annual Parent's Day Awards and Scholarships reception. She received one of two Wal-Mart Co. scholarships.
ALISON KIMBERLY SHERWIN, a senior at Dickinson College in Carlisle, Pa., recently received the Wellington A. Parlin Science Scholarship Award. The award is given to a rising senior majoring in biology, chemistry, or physics and has attained the highest scholastic average during three years at Dickinson.
Sherwin also received the Sia Memorial Prize, given to the rising senior physics major with the highest grade point average within the major.
She is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Richard N. Sherwin and is a graduate of Patrick Henry High School.
DONALD McCLURE of Roanoke has been named to the dean's list at Johnson & Wales University. He is a culinary arts major.
