'HARD BOILED' IS THE BEST YET FOR JOHN WOO

This week, we've got three fine new arrivals that cover the full spectrum of home video. Seven Spielberg's "Schindler's List" makes its debut on tape. So does the highly rated and highly praised TV mini series "The Stand." First up though, is the newest from Hong Kong director John Woo.

"Hard Boiled" is nothing less than a masterpiece of action. John Woo has been widely praised for "The Killer," and less so for "Hard Target." This one is better than either of them. Woo's frequent star Chow Yun-Fat is Tequila, a tough Hong Kong cop who's out to shoot down a gun-running operation. Two rival gangs are fighting for control of the business and an undercover cop is working for one of them.
