ROANOKE MAN CHARGED IN SLAYING

A Roanoke man has been charged with the murder of a Fairfax woman at a church camp in Buckingham County.

According to a report filed by Buckingham County Sheriff's Deputy Roger Jamerson, Marsha L. Summers of Fairfax was shot to death early Sunday at the Nazarene Camp on Virginia 690 near Dillwyn.

Paul W. Ragland of Roanoke was arrested in Portsmouth and charged with Summers' murder and use of a firearm in the commission of a felony, the report said.
