STRIKE FORCE SUMMARY

The strike force has recommended that much of the state support be phased out for museums that aren't state agencies.

Such a policy could eventually cost Roanoke Valley museums hundreds of thousands of dollars - dealing no death blows, perhaps, but adding to budgetary woes in a time of already-tenuous financial support for the arts.
