PARENT-CHILD SEMINAR

``Changing Times, Changing Families,'' the 43rd annual Parent-Child Seminar sponsored by the Mental Health Association of Roanoke Valley, will be held Monday at 6:30 p.m., and Tuesday at 8:30 a.m. at the Salem Civic Center.

Eight workshops include topics such as ``Prevention, Identification and Treatment of Child Sexual Abuse,'' ``Strategies to Discourage High-Risk Behavior,'' ``Discipling the Middle-School Child'' and ``Sibling Rivalry.''

Dr. Katherine C. Kersey, Professor of Early Children Education and Chairperson of the Department of Child Study Special Education at Old Dominion University, is the keynote speaker.

There is no charge for the keynote address Monday evening. Workshops are $7 each. For more information, call 344-0931.
