CHRISTIANSBURG - SHARE Virginia recently celebrated its 10th anniversary. Over 650,000 people have benefited from SHARE in the past ten years.
SHARE is a non-profit program under New River Community Action and has numberous locations in Montgomery County, the City of Radford and Pulaski, Giles and Floyd counties.
This is how SHARE works - for $13 plus tax and two hours of volunteer work anywhere in your community, you can purchase groceries such as frozen meats, fresh vegetables and fruits, and dry goods worth over $30.

Christiansburg parade
CHRISTIANSBURG - The Christiansburg Jaycees' Christmas Parade will be Saturday, Dec. 3 at 6 p.m. This year's parade theme is "The Twelve Days of Christmas. Trophies will be awarded to the best floats in two float divisions and to the top bands.
