Gary Whiting of Blacksburg is the author of the letter titled "North lies on daily basis" which appeared in Sunday's, Oct. 30, Current. Because of an editorial assistant's error, credit was given to the wrong person.

Because of a reporter's error, the address of Saturday's planning retreat for the Montgomery County Board of Supervisors was incorrectly reported in Friday's New River Current. It was held at board Chairman Larry Linkous' home, 2190 Merrimac Road.
