U. N. DAY LUNCHEON SET FOR SUNDAY

The NCCJ, formerly known as the National Conference of Christians and Jews, will host a United Nations Day Luncheon of various ethnic cuisine Sunday, 1-3 p.m., at the Hollins College Moody Center. The purpose of the luncheon, which includes entertainment, is to foster goodwill among the numerous ethnic groups that live in Southwest Virginia.

The cost of the luncheon is $12.50 for adults and $6 for children under 12. Entertainment includes an Indian dance, Mexican music, a martial-arts demonstration and a narration. Door prizes include two roundtrip airline tickets. Tickets are available at Books Strings & Things in downtown Roanoke, Hollins College and Colors Too at Towers Mall.
