ROGER M. ADKINS, longtime professor of machine technology, coordinates a new training and retraining program at the Volvo-GM Heavy Truck Corporation.

The program aims to give instruction on new technological developments to the plant's 1,400 employees.

KAREN K. CECIL, adjunct instructor of geology, is one of six recent inductees to the Pulaski County High School Hall of Fame.

The nominating committee selected Cecil for outstanding contributions in the community and in the teaching profession.

PEGGY STUMBO, materials management director, recently received a Virginia Contract Officer's Certification.
