PERFORMANCE DANCE COMPANY BASED AT HOLLINS

The Dithyramb Collective is a new performance company based at Hollins College and created by Donna Faye Burchfield and David Dvorscak. Burchfield is assistant professor of dance and Dvorscak is assistant professor of theater at the school.

The focus of the company is to develop new works combining the disciplines of theater and dance.

r= The company's premiere will be an AIDS benefit on Dec. 2, 8 p.m., in the Hollins College Theatre. Tickets are $7 and proceeds will benefit the Roanoke AIDS Project.
