The Mental Health Association of Roanoke Valley has elected the following officers for 1995:
Kathryn Van Patten, president; Ann Hutton, president-elect; Kay Kostura, secretary; and the Rev. Larry Sprouse, treasurer.
Adia conducting national food drive
Adia Personnel Services is collecting food for the company's national Thanksgiving food drive through Wednesday.
All donations will go to Second Harvest Food Bank, which will then redistribute the food to local food banks.
Any food donations may be brought to the Adia office at 3570 Electric Road in Roanoke. Office hours are 8 a.m. to 5 p.m.

Roanoker competes in transplant games
Whitney Leftwich and Billy Wilson Fitzgerald, both of Roanoke, recently represented Virginia in the National Kidney Foundation U.S. Transplant Games in Atlanta.
Team Virginia won 25 medals at the competition, which included basketball, swimming, track, table tennis, bowling and bicycle racing.
Leftwich is a lung transplant recipient; Fitzgerald is a kidney transplant recipient.
CASA of Roanoke names new advocates
The Roanoke Juvenile and Domestic Relations Court has announced the names of 13 Court Appointed Special Advocates who were recently sworn in as officers of the court.
These volunteers completed 30 hours of training to work with children involved in abuse and neglect cases.
The special advocates are: Susan Blaylock; Suzanne Casey; Connie Cavett; Peggy Clark; Dixie Deel; Diane Dulin; Roger Dulin; Mary Dykstra; Rayner England; Beth Gimbert; Libby Richardson; Dixie Thome; and Gin Webber.
