FREE TREATMENT

The Mount Regis Center, a 25-bed alcohol and drug treatment facility in Salem, will make two scholarship beds available throughout the holiday season.

The free care will be based on bed availability from Dec. 10 to Jan. 10. To be eligible for treatment, a person must be motivated to achieve recovery from alcohol or drug addiction, have no other serious medical or clinical condition, have had no former treatment for alcoholism or drug abuse, and be able to show that there are no available insurance, funds, or resources to pay for treatment.
