HENDERSON WILL RETURN TO MARTINSVILLE

Ramon Henderson will be returning for the third year as manager of the Martinsville Phillies, the Appalachian League team announced on Friday.

Henderson will be joined by pitching coach Carlos Arroyo and hitting and infield coach Kelly Heath.

Henderson directed the Phllies to a franchise record 32 victories in 1994.

Chip Sullivan, a teaching pro at Hanging Rock Golf Club, shot a 68-67 for a 9-under par 135 to finish third in the PGA Club Pro Winter tournament event at the Breakers West Country Club in Florida. He was one stroke away from a playoff for first place.
