Blood bank re-accredited
RADFORD - Radford Community Hospital has been re-accredited by the American Association of Blood Banks. Accreditation follows an intensive, on-site inspection by specially trained representatives of the association and establishes that medical, technical and administrative performance levels meet or exceed the association's standards.
Lester L. Lamb, president and chief executive officer, said the hospital sought the accreditation because the program promotes a level of professional and medical expertise that contributes to quality performance.
Radford Community Hospital joins more than 2,000 similar facilities across the United States and abroad that have earned this endorsement.
