FOUL PLAY RULED OUT IN DEATH

Police have ruled out foul play in the death of a Covington woman who fell Thursday from an Interstate 64 overpass.

Lucille Masters Webb, 70, was found by police around 1 p.m. in the northbound lane of Durant Road, near I-64 exit 14, according to a Covington police report. Webb died a short time later at Alleghany Regional Hospital.

The report said several witnesses were interviewed, and the investigation into why Webb was on the bridge was continuing.
