COLUMBIA/HCA TO BUY IN DENVER

Columbia/HCA Healthcare Corp., Louisville, Ky., parent of Lewis-Gale Hospital in Salem, said Tuesday it has agreed to acquire Rose Health Care System in Denver. Terms of the acquisition were not disclosed.

Rose Medical Center is a 420-bed tertiary-care hospital, with special expertise in women's health services, orthopedics, pediatrics, surgical services and diabetes.
