Earthquake relief
CHRISTIANSBURG - Contributions for relief of earthquake victims in Japan are being requested by the American Red Cross, which helps support the relief efforts of the Japanese Red Cross. Checks made out to the American Red Cross and earmarked for Japan earthquake relief may be sent to:
Montgomery County Chapter, American Red Cross, P.O. Box 52, Christiansburg, Va. 24073.

Pulaski Yard Sale
PULASKI - Donations will be accepted starting Feb. 1 for the annual Pulaski Yard Sale. which raises money for a number of causes.
Furniture, clean clothing in good condition, and other items to be sold May 4-6 will be taken at the former People's Drug Store building in the Maple Shade Shopping Plaza from 8 a.m. to 12 noon Mondays, Wednesdays, Fridays and Saturdays.
This year, proceeds from the sale will be distributed among the Emergency Needs Task Force, Pulaski Free Clinic, Youth Emergency Shelter, New River Valley Habitat for Humanity and the SHARE Christmas food basket program. Further information is available from Anna Powers (980-2418).
