The deadline for submitting entries is Feb. 15. Entry fees are $15 for members, $40 for non-members and $25 for full-time students.

`Operatifs' continue

Opera Roanoke's outreach activities, ``Operatifs,'' will continue with a double bill Feb. 8 at 5:30 p.m. in the Atrium of the Jefferson Center.

``Opera: Inside & Out - A backstage look at the opera,'' will give a behind-the-scenes look from an insider's perspective on how an opera is produced. Opera Roanoke's General Director Craig Fields will serve as moderator to a panel including set and costume designers, a musicologist, a singer, a translator and a critic.

``Quiz-o-letto!'' is Opera Roanoke's first opera quiz. The panel of opera buffs and academics will field questions and test their knowledge of the opera world.

Tickets $9, and $5 per student. For reservations or more information, call 982-2742.
