The town has created an economic development office to improve its jobs base and try to draw other businesses to Pulaski.
``Of course, this involves working with the merchants and businesses already in Pulaski,'' said Roscoe Cox, the town's economic development director. ``At this meeting, we will present each of the attending merchants with copies of the town's economic development plan and additional material ... We will briefly go over our plans for the future and would like to receive feedback from the local merchants. We are also hoping to inspire the merchants and businesses of Pulaski to begin to form a Pulaski Business Alliance which would allow them to operate together under one roof.''
The meeting will be from 8:30 a.m. to about 10 a.m. in the Brinkley Eure Center at Pulaski Community Hospital. Further information is available from Cox or Keith Stafford at 980-5342.
