In the complaint filed this week with the National Labor Relations Board, the Teamsters accused Overnite supervisors in Bensalem, Pa., of telling employees they would lose jobs, seniority and part-time work if they voted for union representation.
Workers rejected the union proposal 59-46 in a vote Tuesday.
The complaint also charges that the trucking company allowed workers to vote who were ineligible or were not listed on employee rosters, and prevented some eligible workers from voting.
Overnite, which has operations in Roanoke, dismissed the complaint as ``standard Teamster propaganda.''
``Anybody can file a complaint,'' Overnite spokesman Jeff Jordan said. ``We're confident we haven't engaged in any unfair labor practices.''
