With the old-timers' institutional memory, they might have known it was loco (not to mention, apparently against regulation) to let the agency's logo be used in ads promoting certain brands of booze. The department didn't place or pay for the ad. But ABC officials, some of whom have been newly installed by Allen, did approve it. Oh well, they say experience makes the best teacher.
A BLACK teacher at Amelia County High School has been told she can't wear an African headdress to school during Black History Month, because it violates school policy and has offended some white students. The teacher says one white student told her to "go back to Africa." Let's hope wearing white sheets and hoods also violates school policy.
