Contestants are being accepted for the annual Mrs. Virginia American Pageant, to be staged July 8-9 at the Richmond Marriott.
No performing talent is required. All judging is based on poise, personal interview and beauty of face and figure. Applicants must be at least 18, presently married, U.S. citizens and residents of Virginia.
Among her prizes, Mrs. Virginia America 1995 will receive an all-expenses-paid trip to the nationally televised Mrs. America Pageant, a cash award, fur coat and luggage.

German film fest
The Hollins College eighth Annual Colloquim on German Film, ``The Depiction of Foreigners in German Films,'' will be held March 30-April 1 in the Dana Science Building's Babcock Auditorium.
German filmmaker and Hollins's scholar-in-residence Monika Treut will join experts from around the world to examine how German films have portrayed foreigners and how much portrayals reflect the nation's political and psychological disposition of the past century.
