TOUR DUPONT VOLUNTEERS SOUGHT

The Greater Blacksburg Chamber of Commerce is looking for up to 200 volunteers to help out with Stage 4 of the Tour DuPont bicycle race, which ends in Blacksburg Sunday, April 30.

The chamber is also looking for volunteers to assist with the the Tour de Tech and Montgomery Regional Hospital's Health Olympics, Saturday, April 29.

On race day, 12 volunteers will be needed for main operations in Squires Student Center; 150 people are needed to be course marshals, crowd control and rider safety; nine are needed for security and traffic control at team motels; and 20 are needed for litter cleanup after the race.

Groups as well as individuals are welcome.
