TV FOCUSES ON ACC IN SWEET 16 GAMES

The NCAA Tournament regional semifinal games for all four ACC teams that have reached the Sweet 16 will be aired regionally on Thursday and Friday nights by WDBJ (Channel 7).

Virginia's Midwest Region semifinal against Kansas in Kansas City, Mo., will be shown Friday night with a tip-off of approximately 10:25 p.m. The Friday schedule begins with Wake Forest-Oklahoma State from the East Regional, tipping off at 7:40.

The Thursday schedule on WDBJ has Georgetown-North Carolina from the Southeast Regional in a 7:45 p.m. tip-off, followed by Maryland-Connecticut from the West Regional at approximately 10:30.

Between games each night, CBS will switch viewers to the completion of other regional semifinals.

The Saturday regional finals will be played in a CBS doubleheader, with the West tip-off at 3:40 p.m., then the Southeast at 6 p.m. The Sunday doubleheader has the East game first, at 2:40 p.m., followed by the Midwest final at 5 p.m.
