SANDLOT FOOTBALL AWARD WINNERS ANNOUNCED

The 1994 Sandlot Football Super Bowl Winners of the Bob McClelland "Guts" award are: West Salem Cardinals, coach Ray Shelor; Roanoke Salvation Army, coach Philip Priest; Vinton Panthers, coach Reggie Conners; and Botetourt Cavaliers, coach Charlie Beheler.

Sandlot Football Super Bowl Sportsmanship Awards were also given.

Salem winners were: Southern Salem Falcons, coach Robert Murphy, pee wee division; West Salem Cardinals, coach Steve Pendleton, little division; East Salem Raiders, coach Roger Rutledge, junior division.

Roanoke winners were: Northwest Raiders, coach Kenny Morris, pee wee division; Wilmont Cowboys, coach Steve Moon, little division; Optimist Club, coach Skip Allen, junior division.

Roanoke County winners were: Cave Spring Rebels, coach Paul Poff, pee wee division; Cave Spring Crusaders, coach Charles Fochtman, little division; and Cave Spring Lions, coach Dwight Bogle, junior division.
