STORE ROBBERY SUSPECT SOUGHT

Blacksburg police were searching for a man who robbed a YMCA Thrift Store on Saturday.

About 4 p.m., a man entered the South Main Street store and demanded money from an employee, police said. The man left the store on foot with an undisclosed amount of money.

Police said the man, described as having a scruffy dark beard and wearing a checkered shirt and blue jeans, did not display a weapon.
