Rush Limbaugh, known for his acidic attacts on liberals, ``feminazis'' and other banes of conservatism, has been named Talk Show Host of the Year by the Boston-based National Association of Radio Talk Shows. The criteria included contributions to the broadcast industry, enlightenment of the public on international, national and local issues, listener enjoyment and service to the community.

Limbaugh is heard weekly by an estimated 25 million listeners on more than 660 radio stations nationwide.
