PROFESSORS BACK STUDENT'S LAWSUIT

The American Association of University Professors has given $500 to the legal fund of a student who is suing the College of William and Mary.

Karen Veselits, a doctoral student in American studies and a part-time English instructor, filed suit March 16 in U.S. District Court in Newport News over the college's handling of a sexual harassment complaint involving a tenured professor.
