"All Have a Place at the Table" is the theme of MAY FELLOWSHIP DAY 1995. Church Women United groups in Blacksburg and in the Radford-Fairlawn area observe the occasion Friday at 11 a.m. A luncheon follows both services, and participants are asked to bring a salad or dessert.
Each service explores ways women can support each other in their homes and communities.

PEOPLE
The Rev. Dr. JOHN A. REDHEAD JR. preaches the first of a series of 12 "The Protestant Hour" 50th anniversary programs Sunday, 6:30 a.m., on WRIS (1410 AM). The series, "The Past Speaks to the Future," features some of the best sermons from the program's archives. Redhead's program includes a message he first preached on June 24, 1945, the first of over 150 sermons he has delivered on "The Protestant Hour" radio program.
Redhead is the retired pastor of First Presbyterian Church, Greensboro, N.C., and the father of Virginia Bethune of Blacksburg, whose husband is the Rev. Richard Bethune, retired pastor of Pulaski's First Presbyterian Church.
