SUMMER READING

The 1995 summer reading program sponsored by the Montgomery-Floyd Regional Library will feature the theme Amazing Library Kids for children up to the fifth grade and Readers of the Roundtable for young adults sixth grade and up.

The Amazing Library Kids will read and learn about amazing people, amazing animals and amazing legends. In addition to reading, weekly programs include a T-shirt workshop, puppet show and play. All participants will be recognized at a party Aug. 12.

Readers of the Roundtable will uncover lots of information and adventure reading "Camelot," and be eligible for free merchandise and gift certificates from local merchants.

Youths can register for either summer reading program at branch libraries and bookmobiles between the following dates:

Montgomery County and Floyd County Bookmobiles, June 5-Aug. 12

Jessie Peterman Branch Library, Floyd, June 12-Aug. 12

Headquarters Branch Library, Christiansburg and the Blacksburg Branch Library, June 19-Aug. 12.
