CHRISTIANSBURG - All three branches of the Montgomery-Floyd Regional Library system have postal cards at their circulation desks for the "Pass a Buck for Libraries" campaign.

Library advocates and patrons are asked to send the post cards to their senators and congressmen by June 1 to show support for passing funding for libraries. Dog show June 3

BLACKSBURG - Anyone interested in the June 3 New River Valley Kennel Club and Obedience Trial dog show to be held at Lane Stadium from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. should call 951-8513 for information.

The show will feature several hundred pure-bred dogs, along with vendor and food booths. Spectator admission is free.
