PUBLIC INPUT SOUGHT ON NEW LAKE BEACH

The public will have an opportunity to help design a new beach at Franklin County's future community park on Smith Mountain Lake near Burnt Chimney.

Representatives from the engineering firm of Dewberry & Davis will guide a design workshop Thursday from 2 to 7 p.m. at the park site.

Residents will be allowed to tour the area and share what they would like to see done to the park.

For additional information, call Mary Scott at (703) 721-1203 or Joe Baraty at 721-4608.
