Richmond police said Barry Scott was shot three times in the back about 1:30 a.m. Wednesday. Scott, 27, was in stable condition at Medical College of Virginia Hospitals, and his injuries were not life-threatening, according to Richmond police Sgt. Robert Walker.
Police arrested Kevin B. Winston, 20, of Richmond on charges of malicious wounding and use of a firearm in a felony. Winston was being held without bond after an arraignment Thursday in Richmond General District Court.
