TECH PREP GRANT

The New River Valley Tech Prep Consortium, a partnership of New River Valley schools, has received a $25,000 capital improvement grant from the federal government.

The grant, for the 1995-1996 fiscal year, will be used for promotional and curriculum-development activities. Dale Conrad, a career counselor at New River Community College, will direct the project.

Tech Prep is a national program that links educational opportunities for students with business and government.
