MILL MOUNTAIN THEATRE, RU AGREE ON INTERNSHIP PROGRAM

A partnership between Radford University and Roanoke's Mill Mountain Theatre will let students get valuable hands-on experience through for-credit internships.

The alliance will also bring an annual Mill Mountain production to the university.

Students will receive stipends and credit hours for their intern experiences, which can include stage management, stage design, box office and assistant to the director.

The internship program is part the university's College of Visual and Performing Arts effort to offer more arts-related experiences to students.
