Sylvester Stallone went into the banking business two years ago and is doing very nicely, it was revealed Thursday by the Securities and Exchange Commission.

He owns a 7.1 percent stake in Yardville National Bank, based outside Trenton in Mercerville, N.J., which has seven branches. His 70,000 shares, bought for $1.1 million, are now worth $2.7 million.

``I've never met the man,'' said CEO Patrick Ryan. ``But I enjoy his movies.''

\ Rep. Gerald Kleczka, D-Wis., spent most of this week collecting trash on roadways as part of his sentence for a misdemeanor drunken driving conviction in Alexandria..

Kleczka was charged with driving while intoxicated in May after a breath test showed he had a 0.21 percent blood-alcohol level, more than twice the 0.08 percent legal limit in Virginia.

He dropped his appeal Tuesday and a judge affirmed his sentence of a $300 fine, three years suspension of his driving privileges and 30 days in jail, with 20 days suspended.

He will complete the rest of his sentence doing community service work through a work release program, said Alexandria Under Sheriff Rick Ruscak. The conviction was Kleczka's second in a year for a DWI offense in Virginia.
