The former American movie theater was located on the northwest corner of the intersection of Jefferson Street and Luck Avenue in downtown Roanoke, where the First Union Bank Building is now. A graphic in the Aug. 6 Business section placed the American on the wrong corner of that intersection.

\ The last name of Scotty Wayne Overby, charged with killing his wife Saturday night in Montgomery County, was spelled incorrectly in a story in Monday's paper.
