AUTHOR TO LECTURE AT HOLLINS COLLEGE

Author and historian Doris Kearns Goodwin will present a lecture Sept. 13 at 7:30 p.m. in Hollins College's duPont Chapel.

Kearns will speak on her Pulitzer Prize-winning book, ``No Ordinary Time - Franklin and Eleanor Roosevelt: The Home Front in World War II.''

The author of ``The Fitzgeralds and the Kennedys'' and ``Lyndon Johnson and the American Dream,'' Goodwin is a political analyst for television's ``Nightline,'' ``Today,'' ``Good Morning America'' and ``CBS Morning News.''

A book signing will follow the lecture.
