The National Weather Service said inland localities probably won't see any rain because the hurricane was expected to remain stationary for three days.
``We're not expecting Felix to go inland,'' said
"Right now it doesn't appear heavy rain will come this weekend," meteorologist Wayne Albright said. "There's a possibility that it might not rain at all.''
In Western Virginia, more heat is on the agenda for today and Saturday. Temperatures will remain near 90 with no rain expected, except in the New River Valley, where there was a 30 percent chance of showers and thunderstorms.
