HIJACKED TRUCK FOUND IN CLIFTON FORGE

Police have recovered the Hickory River Meat Co. truck that was stolen Tuesday when its driver was pulled from it at a Roanoke stop sign.

The truck was found in Clifton Forge, a Roanoke police news release said.

The woman driving the truck had stopped at 20th Street and Centre Avenue Northwest about 9 p.m. when an unarmed man pulled her out of the truck and drove away. She was treated for minor injuries at Lewis-Gale Hospital.
