IRONKIDS LOOKING FOR YOUTHS WHO HAVE 'OLYMPIC SPIRIT'

In celebration of the 1996 Summer Olympics, IronKids Bread is teaming up with four Olympians in a nationwide search for the All-American IronKids Bread Team.

Gold medalists Janet Evans (swimming), Mark Spitz (swimming), Evelyn Ashford (track) and Mark Gorski (cycling) are looking for 10 outstanding boys and girls ages 7 to 14 who best represent the ``Olympic Spirit.''

The nationwide search begins Sept. 1 and ends Dec. 15. To enter, children must submit a 200-300 word essay based on the theme ``The Olympic Spirit in Me,'' explaining how the spirit and determination of the Olympic athletes has inspired and influenced them in all areas of their lives, specifically in exercise/nutrition, schoolwork and other interests and activities.

Essays must include the child's name, age, birth date, address and phone number and be mailed to: All-American IronKids Bread Team, P.O. Box 190950, Dallas Texas 75219.

The children selected and their two parents or guardians will receive an all-expense paid trip to Washington, D.C., to meet the gold medalists, tour Washington and participate in other special events.

For more information, write to the above address or call (214) 443-9901, ext. 5406 or 5450.
