HILLTOPPERS STUFF COUGARS

E.C. Glass used a stifling defense to key its 35-3 victory over Pulaski County in a non-district game Friday.

The Hilltoppers (2-0) held the Cougars (1-1) to negative yards for much of the first half and 49 yards for the entire half, most of which came on a 56-yard reception late in the second quarter.

For the game, Glass rolled up 460 yards of total offense while holding Pulaski to 117.The Cougars were led by Ronald Branch, who passed for 64 yards.
