The building at 114 Day Ave. S.W. that won this year's Golden Trowel Award from Downtown Roanoke Inc. was not correctly pictured on Wednesday's Business page. The picture was of an adjacent house at 120 Day Ave. S.W. that was remodeled into offices and won a Golden Trowel Award in 1989. Both renovations were the work of Building Specialists Inc. of Roanoke.

The interest rate for Signet Bank's home equity line was wrong in a chart on Monday's Money Page. The correct rate for Signet Bank is 9.44 percent.

A story Monday on the Blue Ridge Parkway's 60th anniversary gave the wrong time of day that a U.S. marshal came to Aubrey and Ruby Beckner's home in the 1970s to tell them their land was being condemned for the scenic highway. The marshal came at midday.

A story Wednesday on the making of a promotional video for the national D-Day memorial in Bedford didn't identify Rebecca Wingfield's husband, Pride Wingfield. Also, Viola Nance's first husband was misidentified. His name was Earl Parker.
