AAUW RECEPTION IS OCT. 27

Roanoke author and Hollins College English professor Richard Dillard will be among the writers participating in the 27th annual AAUW Book and Author Reception in Staunton on Oct. 29.

Dillard, a native of Roanoke, is a novelist, poet and literary critic.

Other authors participating are Margaretta Barton Colt, Vivian Owens and John L. Heatwole.

The reception will be from 3-5 p.m. at the Holiday Inn, Staunton. Proceeds will benefit the AAUW Education Foundation and the endowment fund of the local Community Child Care Center.
