MOTHER-DAUGHTER EVENT PLANNED

Coming of Age: A Mother and Daughter Evening" for adolescent girls and their mothers will be offered Wednesday, Oct. 4, at 7 p.m. Dr. Laurie Hudgins and Anne Campbell will lead the discussion.

The program is recommended for girls, ages 8-12. In addition to the discussion, the evening will feature a fashion show. Door prizes will be awarded.

The event is happening at Luther Memorial Lutheran Church on Prices Fork Road and Toms Creek Road in Blacksburg.

Admission is $5 per girl. For tickets and reservations, call 953-2912. Tickets also will be available at the door.
