CARROLL COUNTY WINS 32-26 IN 3 OVERTIMES

Trey Manning scored from 1 yard out in the third overtime as Carroll County defeated Marion 32-26 in a non-district high school football game in Hillsville on Friday night.

The Cavaliers (3-2) gained 255 yards on the ground while yielding only 133 total to the Scarlet Hurricane (1-4).

Derek Snodgrass ran for 151 yards on 28 carries and four touchdowns for Marion.

Dan River 20, Magna Vista 6: At Ringgold, Joe Saunders ran for 210 yards and scored a touchdown, and Eric Farmer rushed for two scores as Dan River (4-0, 3-0) won a Piedmont District game. Magna Vista is 1-3, 1-2.
