Most bowlers hope to roll a 300 game just once in a lifetime. For Richard Casey, bowling 300 games has become a habit.
Casey bowled his third 300 game of the year and the 29th of his career Wednesday night at Hilltop Lanes in Roanoke.
Casey was bowling in the Bowling Green League. In his first game, Casey rolled a 214. He followed up that with the 300 in his second game. In his third and final game, Casey bowled a 248. He finished the evening with 762 for his set.
In other bowling news, Eddie Quinn, who also competes in the Bowling Green League, finished with a 791 set for the evening.
Quinn bowled games of 257, 244 and 290.
Casey and Quinn have been bowling in the Roanoke Valley for several years and both are members of the Roanoke Bowling Association Hall of Fame.
